Finnish Association of the Deaf

Finnish Association of the Deaf (FAD) is one of the few organizations in the world that carries out wide-ranging development cooperation work to promote the living conditions and full enjoyment of human rights of deaf people.

Development cooperation has established itself as an important part of the association’s work. The Finnish Association for the Deaf is an internationally renowned expert in sign language and deaf work. It wants to take responsibility for improving deaf people’s living conditions in developing countries.
